The Red Hat Marketing team is looking for a Senior Marketing Manager for the Middle East with a focus primarily on the Gulf region to join us in Dubai, UAE. In this role, you would be responsible for defining and implementing a 360-degree marketing plan for Red Hat, including face-to-face events, digital, social, channel marketing, and PR campaigns. This plan will be developed in close cooperation with the country business leader and will support Red Hat's growth strategy in the region. You will also work closely with our channel partners, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), system integrators (SIs), and independent software vendors (ISVs) to help them formulate their own marketing plans aligned with yours. Red Hat is growing fast in this part of the world and as part of the Central Europe, Middle East, Africa (CEMEA) and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and Turkey marketing team, you will be looking closely at the performance of your campaigns, measuring your direct contribution to the regional business. As a Senior Marketing Manager, you will work as part of a team of enthusiastic marketers, bringing Red Hat's unique value proposition and culture to the market in this region. Your ability to align with business will be key to the success in this role. You will have a dotted reporting line to the local country business leader and a solid reporting line to the CEMEA marketing leader. This role requires the ability to travel regularly for business. Develop and own the annual marketing plan, following a 360-degree approach, including face-to-face, digital, social, and PR tactics; align the plan with local business priorities Work closely with the CEMEA marketing leader to align the country marketing plan with the wider regional marketing and growth strategy Develop a specific set of programs focused on delivering marketing campaigns through partners, OEMs, SIs, and ISVs Carry out country marketing plan, including tactics like Red Hat-owned events, third-party conference sponsorships, digital and social campaigns, and PR tactics Engage closely with local resellers, distributors, and partners and actively guide and advise them on how to carry out successful marketing campaigns in order to generate the required return on Investment (ROI) Manage marketing agencies and suppliers Manage country marketing budget Manage marketing performance by actively reviewing and tracking the ROI for all marketing campaigns and make performance-driven decisions and shifts to optimize spending and return Manage local marketing agencies for events, PR, etc.; regularly review agency performance and strategy in order to maximize value delivered to Red Hat Engage closely with country business leader, be the trusted advisor for all questions and topics related to marketing, branding, and PR; ensure that the country marketing plan is aligned with local business priorities in order to be able to demonstrate the contribution delivered by the marketing team Collaborate with the wider marketing teams in CEMEA and Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) and use available expertise and guidance to deliver against country performance objectives 5+ years of professional experience in marketing and communications, preferably within the IT sector and in the Middle Eastern region Extensive experience carrying out direct and channel-driven plans and initiatives, with a focus on marketing events and digital tactics Knowledge of local marketing events calendar for IT events and existing relationships with local IT network, in particular knowledge of local IT influencers, digital advertising platforms, and key event agencies is a plus Understanding of general techniques and methods to track and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns (ROI analysis, lead generation, and management cycle, etc.); basic knowledge of data-driven marketing techniques is a big plus Familiarity with stakeholder management and in particular experience working with senior sales leaders; experience setting, communicating, and reaching realistic targets Experience managing social media tools and platforms Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or another relevant field of study is a plus Native or bilingual proficiency required in English and Arabic Ability to travel regularly for business is required
