Based out of our Egypt office in Asia, Middle East and North Africa, the strategy team plays a critical role in charting the growth of our business and developing fact-based recommendations to achieve our strategic and financial objectives.

The AMENA Strategy team is part of the Global PepsiCo Strategy function and works across our entire portfolio of beverages and snacks, acting as the business’ internal advisors on overall business strategy and specific market and category deep dives.

The Associate Strategy Manager will be a critical part of the AMENA strategy team and will be responsible to lead and deliver answers to critical questions related to our business strategy, as well as evaluation of potential M&A moves. Proficiency in market and competitive intelligence analyses as well internal and external benchmarking is a must. The candidate must be comfortable with significant financial modelling and valuation content and should be able to express strategies in executive level memos and slide formats, as well as present the findings to senior management. The Associate Strategy Manager will share the team's accountability in producing top-notch quality deliverables for senior management at the local, regional, and global levels, and provide leadership and coaching to junior members of the team as required.

Key accountabilities for the role include:

Provide thought partnership to business partners and Senior Executives on a broad range of business-critical topics Demonstrate strong leadership and influence management skills, including the ability to challenge the status quo Develop project deliverables in partnership with other functions and teams Lead project teams comprised of Analysts; oversee and conduct data analytics to ensure conclusions are grounded in fact Maintain an external mindset, including staying on top of consumer, competitive, and macroeconomic / geopolitical trends Contribute to capability building for the entire Global Strategy function (e.g. Recruiting, Training, Knowledge Management, etc) Execute against time-sensitive requests from Executive leaders and cross-functional business partners


Key Skills/Experience Required:

MBA preferred Proficient in communicating in English 6-8 years of strategy experience either in FMCG companies or with a Top-Tier consulting firm Thought leader with strategic mindset and broad global business outlook Highly analytical thinker with sound business judgment Excellent technical skills to process large quantities of data in an error-free manner Excellent written and oral communication skills Self-starter mindset with the ability to “manage up” Global outlook with sensitivity and awareness of social and cultural differences; foreign language skills highly desired
